Last week we proudly accepted an award for “Internet Safety Company of the Year” at the 2011 IMA Awards, hosted by the Internet Marketing Association. Our CEO, George Garrick, traveled to Las Vegas to accept the award and briefly address specific social networking dangers and what we are doing to try and help parents better protect their kids online. George was among many other industry experts and representatives from a variety of companies, including Facebook, Google, Adobe and Salesforce.
The IMA was founded in 1999 by Sinan Kanatsiz, whose “goal was to create a unique venue for top Internet marketing professionals to share best practices, develop new mediums and generate business opportunities.” We are grateful to have been included in their awards presentation this year, and look forward to continuing our work in improving online safety for kids and teens.
